6 yrs old

Well my baby girl has turned six. I don't know why but I have been depressed about it all day. I don't like that the kids are getting so grown up! I know that I am usually pulling my hair out lately, beggin for a mommy break....but, I know I will look back at this time and wish I didn't.

I look back at Belize's life in pictures, and I am so lucky to have such a happy, and good-hearted little girl. There is nothing better than little girls, like my dad always used to say.

I remember the giggles of them as two yr olds. I remember the smell of their baby skin. I remember the tickles and chases. I don't want that to end ever.

I already know I am going to be one of those moms who wants their kids to live in a house down the block, and we can get together for morning walk, or coffee.

And...Belize told me today,"I will never leave you. I want to live with you forever. I promise." This made me tear up, cuz I know it's not true. They will get so independant & when the time comes they will move on. I hate even thinking of that.

Until then I will Kiss them & hug them everyday the hardest I can. I will tell them and teach them about love. I will wipe their tears when they are sad. I will lift them up so they will smile. I will not take advantage of this time. One thing I am happy and proud about is how sweet my kids really are. It is a blessing to have such sweet angels in my life.
